This Privacy Policy explains how afkclient.pro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our service ("Service").

The data controller responsible for your personal data is afkclient.pro. You can contact us at support@afkclient.pro.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you register via Discord OAuth, we receive:

  • Discord user ID, username, and avatar
  • Email address from your Discord account

1.2 Minecraft Account Data

When you link a Minecraft account, we store:

  • Minecraft username and UUID
  • Microsoft OAuth tokens (encrypted) for maintaining your connection

We do not store your Microsoft account password.

1.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a transaction confirmation and subscription record. We do not store your card details. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy.

1.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Bot connection logs (times, server addresses, status events)
  • Chat messages sent or received through the Service (held in memory during your active session and not stored after disconnection)
  • Feature usage (settings configured, actions performed)

1.5 Cookies

We use one essential cookie (phantom_auth) for login sessions. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Connect to Minecraft servers on your behalf
  • Process payments
  • Send essential service communications
  • Monitor performance and reliability
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Account data, Minecraft credentials, and payment processing are necessary to provide the Service you have purchased.
  • Legitimate interests: Usage data, connection logs, and fraud detection help us operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Legal obligation: Payment records are retained to comply with tax and financial regulations.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following third parties solely to operate the Service:

  • Discord: account authentication (user ID, username, email)
  • Microsoft / Mojang - Minecraft account authentication
  • Stripe: payment processing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Removed within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Payment records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
  • Connection logs: Retained for 30 days, then automatically purged.
  • Chat messages: Held in memory during your active session only and not stored after disconnection.
  • Authentication tokens: Removed immediately when you unlink an account or delete your account.

6. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of credentials, secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed on servers located in the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or other appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law to ensure your data remains protected.

8. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your personal data.
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

We may update this policy at any time. For material changes, we will post an announcement in our Discord server at least 14 days before they take effect. It is your responsibility to join the server and review announcements. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
